Hononegah High School's Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering Academic Challenge team finished the most successful season in school history Thursday, taking second place in the WYSE state finals at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Read full story here

Certificate of Employability |
Students received their Certificate of Employability at the Awards Breakfast, May 4, 2012. Ninety-four Hononegah seniors qualified for the Certificate of Employability. Students who received this recognition met the employability standards which are: meets Hononegah graduation requirements, not absent more than six days during their junior and senior years and demonstrated promptness, effort, honesty, cooperation, responsibility, high quality of work and initiative during their junior and senior years. Mr. Justin Bell, Financial and Human Resource Manager at Royal Oak Farm in Harvard, Illinois, was the guest speaker. (photo)
