Math Club Excels
On January 21, the Indians' mathematicians
won the Northern Illinois Association of Teachers of Mathematics
(NIATM) Math Invitational held at Winnebago High School. This
competition, which fielded teams from 10 area high schools, featured
competition in a variety of subjects -- including Algebra, Geometry,
Pre-Calculus -- for individuals, eight-person teams and "calculator
teams." Hononegah is the only team to have won NIATM Invitational

over eight other teams who advanced from their regional
